Helpful videos and links regarding the Montessori Philosophy

Villa Montessori School provides every child with care, an environment, and a curriculum that stimulates their creativity and natural desire to learn and reach their fullest potential.  We are dedicated to helping children develop and demonstrate a love of learning through the cultivation of a culture of respect:  respect for themselves, their environment, and the entire world community of which they are members.

Laying the foundation for a love of learning
Our curriculum is based on the Montessori philosophy to encourage independence, respect, and self-reliance.  We are a member of the American Montessori Society (AMS) and meet the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISACS) and  the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation requirements - which only 8% of all childcare centers have accomplished.

American Montessori Society (AMS) Member School
AMS is a membership organization, a collaboration of teachers, administrators, schools, families, and others who prize Montessori education.

The goals of AMS include:

  • Ensuring high standards for Montessori schools and teacher education programs

  • Providing professional development for Montessori teachers

  • Raising public awareness and understanding of Montessori education
